Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. She made her screen debut in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic and was the recipient of the British Academy Television Award for Best actress. Speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian fluently. Her father, who is a theatre professor at one of Romania's top theater schools, also theater teacher. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year in 2000 at The Mangalia Young Actor Gala. In 2008, she was honoured as an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught for four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Marineca is an Romanian film actress who was born on 1st April, 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress who made her first appearance on screen in Sex Traffic, a British-Canadian television film for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award as the Best Actress. Apart from her stellar performance in her first film, she is remembered for role in the Romanian art film 4 Months 3 weeks and 2 Days which won her numerous awards, such as an award from the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. In 2007, she starred in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 saptamani si 2 zile (4 Months 3 Weeks and 2 Days) produced by Cristian Mungiu. The film received the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other prizes (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI prize). She also appeared as a character in The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she played Yasim in BBC's Five-Episode The Last Enemy. Marinca played roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well the Romanian Drama Boogie. In the feature film Fury (2014) in which she played Irma who was the German woman, who played Emma's aunt.
