Rihanna
Robyn Rihanna better known as Rihanna in Barbados is an Barbadian performer and musician who has given us popular songs such as Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Rihanna is one of the biggest artists to have made it throughout history. At her peak she's sold more than 150 million songs and 41 million albums around the world. Her birthplace was in Barbados and was raised with reggae. When she began to sing, she turned into a professional performer. Unhappy with the chaos in her family and conflicting with her parents, she became immersed in music, and soon realized that she wanted to pursue a career as a professional. While still in highschool she joined a musical group and was invited to audition with Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with her talent. The singer was asked to relocate to New York in order to be a full-time a performer, something she readily did. Rihanna immediately became a hit when her debut album hit the shelves. Rihanna's peppy songs were the most popular among young people, motivating her into film. Nowadays, she's considered to be both a fashion and a teenager idol. Rihanna makes sure to put her popularity to positive use as she is actively taking part in various charitable organizations.
